Grief is a unique and individual journey.
Grief isn’t something we “get over“. We move through our pain yet grief has no end. It is not linear and there is no specific time or date on a calendar giving us any indication on when we will feel better.
Grief has no time line.
Grief changes through the stages and phases, with time, self-care and self-kindness, yet it always remains in some form.
I used to tell my clients that; “Each Reiki treatment is as unique and individual as the individual who is receiving the treatment”.
I belief the same applies to grieving. While our pain is pain, our situations may not be. There are different types of grief such as; loss of a pet, loss of a loved one. loss of a job, big life change, or global changes. However; for the sake of this site; grief is from loss of a loved one; parent, sibling and child.
